I know this might sound sort of odd and maybe kind of creepy, but I've been searching on my own for about 2 hours now and I cannot find a single piece of information regarding an incident that happened.

When I was in 2nd grade, in Georgetown, Kentucky, attending Southern Elementary school in Scott County, one of my class mates was ran over by a school bus. She was 5 or 6 years old, and this was in 1993-5. I can't remember which year it was. I tried counting backwards to figure it out and just ended up hurting my head.

So, the details are this:

-Georgetown, Kentucky
-Scott County
-Southern Elementary School
-Young girl in 2nd grade
-Ran over by school bus after having dropped her umbrella in front of the bus
-The driver thought all were on board, and took off, running her over and fatally killing her

I have searched and searched and cannot find any information regarding this, and would like to extend a request for those who are probably better at this sort of thing.

If you must know why I seek this information, I knew the girl, I sat next to her in class, and I remember this very vividly and would just like to know her name again.

I'll see if I can find anything, but is it possible to go to that place and ask people who are there? The local authorities perhaps? Get a police report?

I've had a pretty thorough search for it, but I couldn't find any results either. It's possible that since this happened so long ago that their might not even be an article about it on the net. I do agree with what KP said though, you might find more success from hard-copy things.

Go to your local library - they should have a collection of old newspapers etc.
