It doesn't mean that he would get the same boost like the first time when he eated fruit on Earth. It could be that his body neads to get used to power until he gets another great incrise...

The only flaw is that all of Turles' power come from the fruit of might instead of actual strength. Frieza is still an intelligent fighter by the way, he would probably destroy the tree of might while he has the chance
