That much is a stated fact. So instead of being incomprehensibly stronger than Trunks, No.19 would end up only decently ahead at best. No.20, on the other hand, garnered Vegeta's attention, and wasn't outright called trash. So you think #20 takes this, even with both of them fighting, together?

Post-Yardrat Goku and Trunks upon his arrival were almost irrelevant by the android saga. The only person that would be comparable to those two at the time would be No.19 (post-absorptions), since that's basically stated to be the case. No.20 after his absorptions tipped Piccolo off to being the androids Trunks spoke about, so at the least he's nearing that level of being able to godstomp Trunks. Piccolo is much stronger than that, Trunks is noticeably stronger than that, and Goku and Vegeta are decently stronger than that.

But, they both should be higher than half of #20's power, at least & I think Goku (Post-Yadrat) is even nearing Gero, so it could be like the scenario on Namek (Vegeta & Gohan & Krillin vs 2nd Form Frieza expectation).

He never once questions #19's and #20's abilities to outright manhandle SSJ Trunks, just whether they were as bad as he was making them out to be.
