I could go with that, Bale was a good Batman but Neeson, Hardy and Ledger were far more interesting to watch. Perhaps though because they were kind of new characters were Batman was same old Batman...though not nearly deserving of genius level intellect.... Given that Batman is way more popular he should have his own reboot movie first because the MOS sequel will just end up being more about Batman... A better MOS sequel with him on his own would definitely be better to re-affirm that Superman can also be cool because we all know that whatever happens in the Justice League movie, Batman will probably save the day then too. Plus non comic readers aren't going to get why Batman isn't Bale and isn't as old, another movie should introduce that. |

As someone who really liked Man of Steel, and was getting pretty excited for this movie, I'm kind of let down, I'll give it a chance but still, I find Ben Affleck to be pretty boring in most of the stuff he's in, even some of the movies I did like with him in it, I still found him a bit of a dull actor. Though I'm giving it a chance of course and make a better judgement once I watch the movie. |

Don't worry it's been confirmed. Idk why Affleck is signing up for a role that could possibly hurt his career again. It's not like he needs the money or that kind of recognition. He just recently managed to fix his image in Hollywood. If we're lucky he'll help out Snyder and Goyer with the project. |

I am but it's not like it's a straight adaptation. I'm talking about Goyer's writing. Sure he helped write TDK Trilogy but Nolan and his brother were there. Edited by Ani-Nation, Aug 23 2013, 03:04 AM.

He did write Dark City too. We can't forget that. I do get your concern though. I think I heard Frank Miller is heavily involved the writing somewhere though. If only we could have got Jonathan Nolan writing |

Jonathan Nolan might be busy with his tv series or something. As for Goyer, Dark City was back in 98 He's also known for writing both Ghost Rider films :P From what I've been hearing recently Frank Miller isn't involved with the script. Snyder and Goyer apparently didn't want to do a team up film until after Justice League. Of course WB wants to make as much money as they can.... |
