But...would the goverment call upon Batman to handle Supes? That doesn't make much sense. Unless somehow Batman gains the powers of a Kryptonian but that kind of destroys everything that Batman is. What's going to happen anyway, some crazy death battle and then in the end they shake hands and all is good? Because if it's a set up for Justice League neither of them should really die...

They even used the quote “I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come, in all your most private moments, I want you to remember your hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you.” Have you not seen the Batman Superman fight in that? Spoiler: click to toggle Someone on another forum said that they could have Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor be business partners. Or steal it, but why would he know about it? Not actually got round to The Dark Knight Returns too forgot I'd even downloaded it thanks Is that even popular enough to ramp up Batman's abilities so suddenly though? Everyone's still going to be used to Nolan's Batman and will consider it be him suddenly fighting Superman when Bane was a major problem.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Yeah but it's going from Nolan's fairly realistic Batman who's been the live action Batman for near enough 10 years now who's suddenly going to be a more comic book style Batman who uses his money to make gadgets and other things. AngryJoe brings up some good points WARNING, swear words. It's a Superman sequel but Batman is vastly more popular than him right now he's kind of taking the shine away from Superman in his own movie. And right away in his sequel Superman is going to be beaten in some way or another by Batman before his new character is even properly developed. As Joe says they're quite clearly rushing it because they're desperate to set up a Justice League film.

I don't know about anyone else, but, if they're using the same Bruce Wayne from Nolan's trilogy (but with a different actor), he didn't seem as intelligent to me as he does in other versions of the character. Not that he was stupid or anything, but just not a genius, if that makes sense. also hoping it's not a batman vs superman thing for the majority of the film. i'd rather only have them contend with each other for a quarter of the film at most Edited by Buuberries, Jul 24 2013, 03:57 PM.

Which is what Batman needs to even be a blip on Superman's radar. It presumably will end in a team up unless, for whatever reason, they want it to be Justice League vs Superman or Batman which is...well yeah incredibly stupid. But who against? We've got this whole confrontation with the two of them and there's some other villain, likely Lex in the background up to some shenanigans. Just sounds like it's going to be messy really. Superman needs another movie on his own first to introduce some new villains or potential new villains for himself and Batman to face off against. All we've really got is the LexCorp building and a LexCorp truck other than that there's no set up for anything else...

Although to be honest I don't really want it to just be a copy of that it should be at least somewhat original. Not to mention Superman's side of that story is just boring and if Batman's side was focused more...it's not much of a sequel for Superman is it. This should be done after Justice League when they're both cemented as legends in their world.
