The guy was attempting to apply physics to DBZ, he failed from the start.
You can apply physics to Dragon Ball, and to any other fiction.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

I think the lack of proper power scaling is a big reason. Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Kuririn, Yamcha, etc. all get phased out as significant characters because the Saiyans pull so far ahead and ascend to new Super Saiyan forms. You can claim it's logical that the Saiyans would end up as the only relevant characters with all of their superior training and Super Saiyan transformations but it really limited the scope of the show.

Piccolo surpassed the SSj's in the early Cell saga just by magically absorbing old a*** Kami, and every protagonist in the Freeza saga by absorbing crippled dying Nail. It's a damn TV show/comic. DBZ humans don't need to have some power scale relative to real life humans. Who cares if Tenshinhan and Kuririn are "just humans"? Like their humanity puts a cap on their power. Toriyama, and Toei to an extent, could have easily have came up with reasons for at least Piccolo's power to continue scaling with the Saiyans as the series goes on; if not Tenshinhan and Kuririn as well.

It just really limited the scope of things and left a lot of useless characters lying around. When Super Boo ate everyone on the lookout my point really sticks out the most. They were mostly all just characters that had been phased out for really no significant reason and were just Boo fodder to get Vegeta and Goku pissed off. It's sad that some really great characters that could have provided more complexity and diversity ended up in Boo's stomach as a simple plot device.

I agree with Majin Boo's transformation makes no sense.

Majin Boo's transformations make enough sense to me.
