I imagine it would be. I have an ASUS G75VW and it runs everything like a dream.

No, I don't think so. Here's a list of benchmarks for the GPU it uses:

As an entry level card, the (GT) 610M has to compete against the Intel HD Graphics 3000 and HD Graphics 4000.
It's only par with intel integrated graphics, which aren't very good.

I think it's good for the price, but it won't be running any newer high end games on high graphics settings (granted you need a damn supercomputer these days it seems). The amount of RAM it's got looks a little low (although you can upgrade that), and I dunno about that i3 processor. Plus there's what Master Glory said up there, it's only got an entry level graphics card.

What kind of games do you want to run on it?

The problem is the integrated tier gpu.

It'll run older games great, but new games will suffer an fps loss and you'll more than likely have to run newer games on lower settings.

Black Ops 2, BF3, Dishonored, The Elder Scrolls Online, and GTA V. I'd probably run other MMO and MMORPG games.

No, sorry. An i3 and that GPU will not run those games, unless you're planning on dumping settings to VERY LOW. Which kind of defeats the point of pc gaming IMO.

Yeah I reckon you'd need at least an i5 to run those types of games (unless the i3 is a total monster in terms of processing power, which I don't think it is). An entry level GPU probably wouldn't cut it either.

It's an i7, not an i3.

Ah, you're right. Then I'll give it more credit now. You'll be ale to run those games, but you will need to tone down graphics still due to the integrated tier GPU. An i7 can only carry the system so far. And it can. But not so far that you can run new games at max settings coupled with your GPU.

So what laptop can run new games at max settings? I regret that I bought this laptop. I should have bought an Alienware instead of this.

What's my GPU again?

Lol you should never buy Alienware. It is extremely expensive for mediocre parts.

A gaming rig can be put together yourself by buying individual parts for 900 easy, and the Alienware alternative would cost 2 grand.

A good gaming rig is going to cost you 800 bucks of you want to build it yourself from newegg.com. It'll run high end games.

About 1,100 USD? I don't remember, but it's about that price, possibly higher or lower.

I don't know how to build a computer <_<

I'm suprised that with that price you can't run new games (going by what everyone says).

I buyed new laptop not long ago for 500€ and it runs every game like a charm.
