Either way, the thread was way old. This thread is about the mysterious and awesome show called LOST, when a plane flight flying from Sydney Australia to Los Angeles crashes on tropical island in the south Pacific. Discuss your favorite plot points, characters, seasons, or...anything about the show here.

Lost remains one of my favorite shows ever. Like Ani said, from Season 1 to Season 3 it was REALLY good. From Season 4 on it got progressively more and more cheesy. I also didn't like the flash forwards that much, it was cool in the beginning because it was something new, but it eventually became too confusing. Same with time travelling. And the parallel storyline was also meh. My favorite characters were Ben, Sayid and Sawyer. My favorite cast was the original cast. Nothing beats Season 1, to be honest. I thought Locke was amazing too, but when Ben came around he sort of felt like an improved version of Locke (just a lot more deranged and intriguing), which made Locke lose a lot of his appeal to me. A character I've always found highly underrated is Shannon (seasons 1 and 2). I thought she was comedy gold and could have been a lot more developed. A character most people love that I simply couldn't get into is Claire. I found her such a major BORE, omg. She was very sweet, but equally -- or more -- boring. Also Kate was kickass for the most part, but had some really dumb moments too and I personally didn't like that she kept going back and forth between Jack and Sawyer that much. It just didn't add much to the story when you think of it.

Posts: 30 Group: Member Member #9,723 Joined: July 6, 2013	Favorite characters were Ben, Locke, Sawyer, and Eko. Favorite episodes outside of the season finales were usually the Ben centric ones. Enjoyed most of the series, but the last season really hurt the show as a whole for me. I can't say that I'd recommend it to anyone.

But I wanna say that, it's Matthew Fox's (Jack's) Birthday yesterday. Apparently he's... 47? Wow. I'm 22 and he looks like, 7 years older than me. Also, today is Terry O'Quinn's (Locke's) Birthday. Happy B-day to him and to Terry O'Quinn. Both fantastic actors. What about least favorite characters, guys? Who else HATED Ana Lucia with a burning passion?! Can't be only me! ETA: I'm going to add "Spoilers" to the topic title just to make it 110% clear that we're going to openly discuss spoilers in this thread. It would be a bit ridiculous not to since Lost has gone off the air a few years ago, but still... Gotta be very cautious when it comes to big shows. Edited by Strawberry, Jul 15 2013, 08:19 AM.

The good one, not the season 6 monster locke, though he was cool as far as villains went. I loved how Locke was so at home at the island, and that he constantly surprised everyone, no matter how smart or strong his enemies were. He was friendly and considerate, but also a true hunter and he did what was necessary. Don't ever tell him what he can't do. I also loved Desmond. He's funny and tough and I just love the way he talks. His love for Penny reminds me of myself as well. Sayid and Jin and Eko are really cool too. And I love the obvious characters like Jack and Sawyer and Hurley etc. I like Charlie a lot, but rewatching Lost has gotten me to realize how bias and dumb he can be sometimes. Same for Claire and sometimes Hurley. I think the actress for Ana Lucia is cool, but yeah the character was kinda lacking.

Eko was pretty badass, but I'm afraid I don't really love him as much as most people seem to do... mostly because he didn't really last very long. Jin and Sun were pretty cool as well. I actually cried like a babby when they died. It was the most emotional death scene for me and I remember thinking it was so unfair that after everything they had gone through they had to die like that. Hurley was hilarious. There's a scene with Hurley and Jin that I particularly love because it always makes me laugh hysterically, which is when they go fishing in Season 1 or 2, and something happens that makes Hurley think he got bitten and that it could be poisonous, so he looks at Jin in panic and yells "PEE ON MY FEET, YOU HAVE TO PEE ON MY FEET, PLEASE PEE ON MY FEET NOW, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, PEE ON MY FEET!!" lmao I'll always laugh at that scene.

Jin and Sun dying was so sad D: I was really sad after that happened. Their story was so heartwarming and tragic.
