DBZF'S Original Lurker

ok so this is normally a family sedan. But.....It has hidden potential for racing. I bought one in november and added the Short Ram Intake, New exhaust all the way back, new headers, and Just ordered ITB's. This car stock hits 140 easy and with the additions I have added it hits 150 slowly. Next week I plan on taking on the gear ratio, it's automatic but thats ok. It just means I have to do more work by not only shortening each gear ration but also shorten the shift points so it hits at 8k-9k rpm rather than shifting at 5k because thats no torque at all. I want to shorten the V-tec kick to 3500rpm rather than 4500 also but IDK how. This car is amazing for racing IMO because its got A double wishbone front and back which of course means separate movement from suspension, its a k series 2.2l which I love Only thing that bugs me Is its ugly aha. What do you think about the honda accord, I'll post a pic later, my dad came and borrowed it from me earlier. should I keep it and slam it and make it look good or finish the additions and trade for something different?

As a ff layout car I think you could mod it to something that pulls pretty hard. But ff is not widely used on the track and since it's an auto box it's not gonna have quite the same feeling as a manual. I don't know much about tuning but aren't you gonna need an aftermarket ecu to change valve timing?

Also does the transmission have a manual/power option? That will make the gearbox shift later without having to change anything.

I'd personally sell it and buy something rwd, lighter and more powerful. I'm not sure where you live but in my country there's a lot of silvias, skylines, mr2s etc. for sale.

Anyways keep us posted
