Who cares about the moon? Obviously, it's not needed in the DB Universe. Why bother with the moon when you have a lot of plot and characters to develop?

Haha. Super Vegetto is right. I'm laughing so hard. But yep, everyone does go to bed early so they don't really care.

Meh. . .
I agree with Emmeth / Lord Magus.
I mean, why would Toriyama even bother to show us how the humans would react about that?
There's just too much going on :p

Realistically, an earth without a moon would throw our oceans into such a violent clamor, the entire earth would be VERY aware of the lack of the moon.

Our moon is what stabilizes our oceans into the pattern that they are in. Without it, the oceans would cause massive tidal waves, tsunamis, and entire islands and continents would be flooded. The earth simply would go into pandemonium.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I feel sorry for the Wolfman guy/people they can never turn back without it...

Maybe it got destroyed a few times before the series and somebody thought f*** it, enough of this s***! And wished for the Earth not to need it.

Yep, this was on my mind when I said "in the DB Universe". I know you're not, but we can't compare our own world to the world of Dragonball.

But I doubt that Toriyama would say that about the DB world.
His answers most of the times apply to real life facts. He never says ''Meh, it's a fictional universe. What do you expect?''.

Well, Dragonball do have a lot of real-life elements, but it also has a lot of fictional elements. The fact that Goku starts out being a human with a monkey tail that can transform into a huge Gorilla monster is good proof of that.
