In the anime filler he laughed off what looked like an amped ki attack (veins popping) from Majin Buu and he completely dominated him after he said Buu was going to start fighting seriously. Sure he transformed after Buu said "surely you're not as strong as me" (or something to that effect), but why couldn't he just be showing off? He blew away everything filler Buu threw at him, even his super powerful ki ball and what was said to be his full effort. Edited by IllogicalGlory, Jun 27 2013, 03:37 AM.

I'm actually going to agree slightly with the anime. I believe he was stronger, but in order to intimidate Buu enough to absorb him he would have needed SSJ for complete psychological domination. |

You could probably get away with Base Vegetto being around Buuhan as long as 1. He's equal to him 2.He's slightly weaker I personally believe that Vegetto is weaker in than Buuhan in base. Thus why he needed to transform into SSJ at the beginning of the fight. |

I chalk that half up to plot and half up to Vegito not being serious once he flared his Aura he went straight through Buu's shield. I remember everyone at school said Vegito went SSJ2 there. |
