I ♥ Yoeri Posts: 20,075 Group: Legend Member #8,985 Joined: February 7, 2013 Country Japan	We all know that the hair changes slightly from transformation to transformation. Some more than others. But the thing I am more curious about is the lightning. When a Super Saiyan transforms to Ascended Super Saiyan, he has lightning around him. Now, what about the regular Super Saiyan form? When is the lightning present? Only initially, or when they power up? I have been watching the Boo arc recently, and when they are preparing for the fusion, Goku asks Goten and Trunks to power-up. I don't think it's present in the manga, so I just wanted to know if it was just for special effects in the anime, or if lightning is a regular occurence with the first SSJ form.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball/Z/Super, Naruto/Shippuden, One Piece, Hellsing, Death Note	The manga has consistent auras, both electrical and non-electrical, based on which form is being used. The anime frequently adds lightning to forms that do not need them, however, and this makes debating non-canonically a bit difficult. ASSj, USSj, MSSj do not have lighting. SSj2 and SSj3 do.
