A lot of these statements wouldn't add anything to the overall manga.

Gohan was Super Saiyan 2 against Dabura? Okay, let me adjust my power level list.
Super Saiyan 2 Gogeta could beat Super Saiyan Vegetto? Okay, let me adjust my power level list.
Kid Boo is stronger than Super Boo? Okay, let me adjust my power level list.
Base Goku is 100-fold stronger than 100% Freeza? Okay, let me adjust my power level list.

It would just serve one group of fans' perception. If that's what some of you want, it's alright with me, but I think something more important and not as one-dimensional should be addressed; something more vital to story, in other words. Something like what KetchupRevenge posted would be much more beneficial in my opinion.
But then that statement would contradict other interview statements about Toriyama having a multiplier in mind. He didn't say he dropped the concept of the multiplier, just its size.

Basically everything you could ask Toriyama to clarify is either useless or supporting one side of a debate.

Nothing Vital to the story really needs to be addressed that way. The only thing in DBZ that is confusing are different power statements everything else is only confusing due to fans thinking too hard.

King Kai: Since you've trained with me an increased your power so much, you'll be a lot faster too. If you train properly, you'll find that speed scales linearly with power. You'll find that my training has increased both your raw power and speed immensely, so you can make it back to Earth in about 2 days.

 Actually you know what I'd honestly like, if AT just came up and said everything involving Mecha Freeza was filler. It was nothing more than just a cheap way to show off Trunks and prove how strong the cyborgs were, something that could've been done through sheer statements. I'd rather AT just say that none of this happened and Freeza died like a fallen tyrant of epicness on Namek, not some punk bio-cyborg who got offed in a chapter to prove how awesome Trunks was.

That was said in the anime for sure and I think the manga. And it only took Goku 28 hrs to go through snake way.
