It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

 Incredible show. I just finished watching the entire series through the other day. A brilliant display of institution vs. individual, reformation, character development, with rampant juxtaposition and symbolism throughout. One of the most underrated shows of all time, even with all the accolades and awards it has won. If you haven't seen it, you're really missing out is all I can say.

Any other huge Wire fans here? My favorite characters, in no particular order, were D'Angelo, Omar, Avon, Stringer, Jimmy, Carver, Colvin, Lester, Bubbles and Bodie. There were some seriously talented actors on this show. There are so many other characters that are great as well and sharing screen time with hundreds of others by series' end.

Anyone else? Analysis? Favorite scenes/characters? Quotes? Any thoughts at all? :p
