Has anyone watched or still watches this show? I remember it coming on a lot when I was a kid but I never even took the time to watch it. A friend of mine told me it's good and I started on it a little, but I was wanting to know what some of ya'll think about Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

What's up?

I used to watch it a little with my dad when I was a kid. I've never really had the desire to watch it all the way through though.

It was a good show until it started focusing on Willow and her lesbian troubles. I fast-forwarded a lot because of that.

Otherwise, I enjoyed it. I watched the majority of it on Netflix (the rest of it was fast-forwarded or skipped). Spike and Angel were definitely my favorite characters. I didn't care about anybody else except Buffy, and that's because Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Boy she was like the hottest chick ever back in the day. I think Imma go through with this though. I have season one right in the dvd player, I just need to know if it's worth watching or am I going to have to deal with some cheesiness.

I don't remember much of the first season at all, but the second and third seasons are pretty good.

Crazy Awesome Legend

I think it should have stopped where she died. It got very silly after that. Like the episode that is just a musical. You could tell the writers didn't care anymore. Also i think the show is showing it's age now.

The show started going downhill after the fourth or fifth season, I think. The sixth and seventh seasons were kind of unnecessary and dragged out.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

As far as I remember it is very cheesy.

But in a classic way, it's way cooler than most vampire shows today they're all just romance/sex based teen nonsense.

Used to watch Buffy as a kid not sure if I ever finished it but I did enjoy it.

Been considering watching it on Netflix actually...

As I said it is cheesy but it is also fairly old too so it's worth a try, it's nice to have a heroine that's actually tough unlike Elena in Vampire Diaries, Buffy is nowhere near as whiny.

I just recently got the first season and I agree with Pelador it has gotten a little aged. I don't know when the first season was filmed but most of the jokes or relief comedy sounded stale. I like the eerie dark feel to it although I'm not sure if that's just to do with lighting or just being a old show. It's suppose to be really great and kinda the godfather to supernatural shows on today but I'm yet to be impressed.

Season 3 and 4 kick it up a good few notches.
