Masunaga Keisugi's works are on par if not superior to Tadayoshi's.

He's responsible for some of the series best moments.

His style of artwork is sharp, defined as opposed to the series regular rounded style, say Toriyama's or Maeda Minoru's.

Tadayoshi Yamamuro by far. His art and sequences are the best.

But, I will admit, I like Akira Toriyama's drawings better.

There used to be a collage of pictures with names on them showing each illustrators work. Mind finding that?
Toriyama isn't an animator. He is an artist.
He uses more variant colors and his style in designing is more unique and artistic.

You can't really compare Yamamuro's art with Toriyama's. Well, only when it comes to the character's design and shape.

I have to admit though, Yamamuro's art is really similar to Toriyama's.
Here's an example:

Plus, just look how similar this illustration is compared to Yamamuro's style:

This looks almost exactly like a screenshot from the movie Path to Power.

I've always been a fan of Masunaga Keisugi's work as well, but his style is a bit too different from Toriyama's. It's sharper and his characters are more stringy and gangly than Toriyama's. It's a cool style, but it's grittier and just doesn't look right.

It's good for all these choreographic fight scenes. But sometimes the faces he puts on the characters kinda creep me out. :o_O:

I prefer the grittier, sharper style to the rounded, more "childish" style.

I really liked Keisuke Masunaga.

His artwork is what got me into drawing back in the day. If the Anime was redone, I think it would be done like this.

It is awesome compared to some others .
:errm:
But I doubt they would use him for a ''next anime'' if it ever came out.
Yamamuro is the one they would use for sure. Due to, he has done all of the important movies including Battle of Gods.

And, my god! I've seen some other artists style such as Yukio Ebisawa which doesn't even stand near the others.

^ At least it does look real to DBZ's art style. The only problem with it is the lack of detail in it.
What episode is it from, does anyone know???

Lol

That's a straight-up screwed-up DBZ style by Uchiyama Masayuki.

I dont see how its in any way looks DBZ's art style.

Btw, its Episode 158 : Krillin's Decision.

Yeah, but at least it looks better than some other screw ups out there, IMO.
Again, it just lacks the detail, but the DBZ style is still there IMO.

Thanks for the episode BTW.

It practically lacks basic figure drawing guidelines as well.
