Besides that, who did Vegeta even teach? Trunks? Don't make me laugh. Future trunks = BAMF. Current timeline trunks = a girl in shorts. Give me a break. Current trunks (Buu arc, and GT) is a puss. Future trunks, on the other hand, is a baws. That makes Future Gohan a great mentor. |

Grandpa Gohan for me is the greatest mentor / martial arts master. He seems to be full of wisdom and knowledge over different meanings of martial arts. |

For me its Goku or Piccolo but the situations are different,by that I mean that if Goku would train Gohan for the fight with the saiyans he wouldn't be good for that because Goku will be gentle with him not teying to force him and still be a scared kid,on the other hand on the chamber Goku was the right trained what Gohan was needed was relaxing real training and fun as well which pretty much leads us to Goku,if Piccolo trained Gohan on the chamber it wouldn't be enough because Gohan was not only needing hard training but love and relax as well,so its likely its two different situations on the matter, but in conclusion I believe Goku is a better trainer he uses love and relaxing his pupils and be friendly with them while the training is ongoing,Piccolo on the other hand is pushing it to much without trying to be a little better as a person to the other to make him fell better,so that's pretty much my opinion

I'd say Piccolo. He managed get pretty good results out of Gohan in less than 6 months' worth of training. |

I think Piccolo, for a number of reasons. First thing first he trained himself. All his techniques and concentrated ki attacks are of original design. Secondly his training doesn't rely on outside factors. King Kai uses the gravity of his planet to train you as oppose to actual tuition. Goku had the ROSAT on his side, a year in a day, gravity change, no distraction. And lastly Piccolo was willing to go the extra mile, if he had to hurt you for your own good, bet your butt he would. No pain, no gain. |

I'm going with Roshi. He trained two young boys into finalist at the Strongest Under the Heavens. Two somewhat normal boys competing with martial artist that's probably been training for years. His training itself was physical and mental. He conditioned and made them stronger where they didn't need to know all sorts of combos and whatnot to compete with those older and more experienced fighters. Then he comes up with the whole idea of defeating them so they'll continue to have the drive to get stronger, instead of having the cocky, "no one can touch me." attitude. As well as turning someone like Tenshinhan to the person he was late DB on to Z. I have to give this one to Roshi for those reasons. But if I have to go by the poll.. Goku of course.
