hmm i dunno if cell says he can why not, even if it is far fetched, its not contradicted
and no one doubts him or says thats impossible in the manga but then again its to ones own opinion
cause cell never proved he could

as for ki and ki control

''What are the requirements for becoming strong?
There are physical limits to the strength of the body itself, so in order to overcome that barrier, it’s necessary to increase your “ki”. Normally, the more you increase your ki, the harder it is to control, so ki control is also important.''

just thought i would share that. AT being interviewed

Like I said, it wasn't directed at the earth but fat Buu. It left a gigantic crater, but it did not go into the ground to reach the core of the planet. To destroy a planet the KI must reach the core atleast or go deep enough to cause a chain reaction.
How can you direct a self-destruction at something? I don't see how it's possible to aim at someone as you self-destruct.

It doesn't matter if that was his intention or not, just by looking at the crater you can see that it didn't hit the planet. Just like the spirit bombs that always scrape the planet instead of going into the ground because that would destroy the planet.

It's contradicted by Pure Boo's attack only blowing up the planet, while character-wise, it'd make far more sense for him to try and destroy the solar system with it. If Boo could've destroyed the solar system with it, he would have. He had no reason to hold back on it.

People must understand that the solar system is massive, light years kind of massive.

That's not true. The solar system is just under a light year in diameter, and by just under I mean by 710,696,000,000 miles shorter.
Diameter of solar system: 5, 155,000,000,000 miles
Light year distance: 5,865,696,000,000 miles

With but a 1.13x differences, that's pretty darn close to a light year distance and even if it isn't, it's still far more of a massive size anything Cell or anyone before or afterwards has shown to be able to pull off in destroying with an attack.

Perhaps he was getting rid of Goten, Trunks and Gohan, aka the only people who can stomp the hell out of him.

It's clear from everything after that action that Kid Buu is the kind of person who loves toying with opponents and making his fun last as long as possible. He didn't kill Mr Satan or base Vegeta when he could have done it in a single hit for both.
