The androids that Trunks could fight fairly well didn't use their full power against him, however, Android Arc Vegeta is about as strong as them. But, he is still way stronger than Goku and Trunks were at that point.

Chrome, Safari, IE Favourite Manga Rave Master, FLCL, .hack//legendofthetwilight, Naruto II	FINALLY! We get a badass fight with no crazy off handed what ifs. Just two characters going at it. Future Trunks and Goku vs Android 17 & 18. I'd say that Instant Transmission gives them a cutting edge, but the thing is at this point Androids 17 and 18 not only have incredible power, they have an infinite energy supply. And they have a full database of Goku's techniques, minus the Instant Transmission. So they should have no issue countering everything from Kaioken to Penetrate! to Spirit Bomb. Trunks isn't built in, but they've fought him enough times to have him on the run in a battle. It'll be close, but just because Super Saiyan still takes up a lot of energy at this point, I just don't think Goku and Trunks can hang long enough to beat the two of them down.

That begs the question of why the androids would allow Trunks to fight "fairly well" against them if they could just up their power and own him like they previously had. I think they either couldn't, and that's why Trunks was able to become powerful enough to fight both of them "fairly well" (since this was post-android training), or they were being sadistic f*s and giving him hope randomly; to me, the first option makes more sense, but whatever. As for the battle, it would be a slaughter. Trunks at the point you're assigning him described the androids as godly, implying a likewise godly gap between them and him. Seeing Goku's power gave him hope, but it was merely that - it didn't mean they were anywhere near the androids' power, considering even Goku admitted he was scared and had to train hard if he wanted to face them. http://dbzf.co.uk/single/?p=8755706&t=8417273 Edited by Pyrus**, May 28 2013, 02:11 AM.
