I say Mr Satan wins. He seems feeble in comparison to the Z fighters, but he is strong for a human. Considering how weak/low Goku's power level was when he defeated the Bear Thief. I think Satan would win.

The thing is it seems like martial artists in Z became weaker than in DB. All of the participants in the 21st could probably take Satan down easily. I can see it being close.

Based on feats, yeah. Mark would look like s*** compared to even Ranfan.

Actually in all perfect honesty I had Hercule in the Nam/King Chappa cateogry. Mainly because he actually seems to have legitimately won the championship. I don't remember much about the bear thief, but I doubt it could drag Four City buses by its shoulders, or cut through 15 bathroom tiles with a single karate chop. Hercule's pretty tough, I'd say he has the physical strength to beat the Bear if nothing else.

The city buses scene was filler, and he couldn't get through all fifteen tiles and looked to be in pain afterward if I remember correctly.

Here's a good thread with some insight on Videl's power, who was stated to be stronger than her father.

Not gonna lie, only skimmed the thread, reduce argument effectiveness by 30%. Somehow I just don't see any of those guys beating Videl. Especially the way she was fighting Spopovich (Granted she got slaughtered, but she broke the magically enhanced guy's neck, she's fu*king tough.) And sure it's filler, but still have you ever tried breaking tiles? Chopping fourteen of them on solid ground with your bare hands isn't easy. Hell, I think when i was at my best a Cinder block was the best I could do with a punch and two with a kick, and it still hurt afterward, it's just the momentum. Besides, Hercule can use highspeed movement and after images (Like his battle against Van Zant), so I'd say in universe he's strong enough. And where is that alleged "Interview" where Akira Toriyama states (Probably jokingly) that Hercule is weaker than Bob Sapp (Although Bob Sapp isn't anyone to sneeze at either...)? Unless we can link and source, it's not evidence.

The bear thief has this. He has a sword.

Giant > 14/15 tiles.

The only posts you need to read are the ones from CatouttaHell. Do that and then we've got a debate on our hands. Mister Satan has no feats that compare to those of the early fighters, and him winning some tournaments isn't one either since it was stated that all the good competition left when Goku did.

I think it would be a good fight if the Bear Thief did not have his sword.

I still think Hercule would do pretty well in at least 21st TB. I think he's stronger than at least Bacterian and Ranfan.

Bacterian had strength that even Yamcha adknowleged, and Ranfan's surprise attack against Namu was far more effective than Giran's sucker punch on Goku. Mark would stand no chance against them.

As for the topic, a complete mismatch. The Bear Bandit is far larger than an average bear, who are already around 5x stronger than normal humans. By comparision, Mr. Satan wasn't strong enough to even knock a normal human unconcious.
