SSJ4 is just a stronger potential unlock than Mystic. I think Gohan wins. |

So basically Ssj4 is a potential unlock that unlocks your potential and get you past his limits like Mystic form? |

Goten's hybrid potential ~ Gohan's hybrid potential. Kai Unlock(beyond limits) > SSJ4(limits) I don't know if they would have the same amount of dormant power which both the Kai Unlock and SSJ4 bring out the power from. Goten would have the power advantage but depending on how much of a 'beyond' boost he gets.. Gohan's skill and experience advantage may make up for that small power difference, if one. The same small power difference some people think with: Ultimate Gohan & SSJ4 Gohan. Edited by Professor Gohan, May 21 2013, 02:36 PM.

Gohan still. Because I think their power gap will be small enough for his series of attacks that he has and experience to make up for that. Goten will have more power but I see him losing after giving Gohan a fight. |

I think goten wins easily. Gohan was far far above his limits. but this time he is at his limits Goten who has equal if not more Potential than gohan gets to go far far beyond his limits. |

Goten takes this no problem. It seemed like the hybrids had enormous potential, and seeing that Goten reached such enormous power by a young age, I believe he has more potential than Gohan. |

Super Saiyan 4 is basically a potential unlock. It doesn't go any further than that. "Mystic" or as I call it "Fantastic" is a potential unlock and then a lot more. It's much stronger than Super Saiyan 4. Thus, Fantastic Goten would likely be stronger than Super Saiyan 4 Gohan based on that. Edited by Pyrus, May 23 2013, 02:10 AM.

Is that what we're calling it? Ok fair enough, but I don't see Goten WINNING a fight against Gohan, not solo. I mean, sure, they were panting and sweating during training. But it's training. That's what you do. It's the same thing as running the treadmill or hitting the heavy bag with your little nephew. You get winded, he gets winded, but he's not gonna bust you down in a fight. Yeah Gohan was training hard, but he wasn't trying to break his little brother's neck, he was training him and getting his own skills back to par. Goten's tough, sure, but the only solo fight he's ever been in was against Trunks and he still managed to lose that. He's got three attacks, two of which were taught to him by Gohan, and there's nothing he can do to surprise him. Gohan's got plenty of power, battlefield experience, and is radically smarter than Goten (Far as we know, but aside from looking like and acting like a 7 year old Goku, we know little about Goten). Odds on, Gohan's son of Son that holds a solid win. |

Goten only lost to Trunks based on a tournament rule. In this fight that rule wouldn't exist. I'm sure if their fight had gone on, either Trunks would've had to have tricked Goten or he would've lost fairly since despite his minor power advantage, Goten might've been more skilled in martial arts. And if the gap is big enough between Goten and Gohan, it wouldn't matter if Goten isn't as smart as his older brother. |

Man, that don't make an ounce of sense. If Mystic is better, then why didn't Elder Kai, oh I don't know, use that instead? It's not like it would have taken any longer than his initial plan to regrow Goku's tail. SSJ4 must hold some advantage over mystic. |

Nah I'mma call you on that one. Trunks is physically stronger, he's faster and ultimately smarter and has a wider variety of techniques and skills. He outclasses Goten in every category, so that's a solid win. And that's a damned big IF. Intellegence is a statistic. As is physical strength, durability, staminia and overall skill. Even if the Goten's intellegence doesn't matter, his skill or lack thereof will. Again, all of his training is Gohan and Chi-Chi's at this point. Chi-Chi's style is a diluted version of Kame-Sennin Ryu learned by the Ox King and Gohan's is a combination of Kame Sennin Ryu and Evil & Dragon Tribe Namekian Styles. There is NOTHING Goten can do to gain a significant edge in the Martial Arts or strategically. I mean if we're rocking potential vs potential (Although I'm still convinced that the Super Saiyan Four Form is a multiplier and not a set power level like Mystic...) then at best Goten and Gohan are dead even. So ultimately it comes down to who the better fighter, best tactician and finally the most adaptable. And historically, that's Gohan. He's experienced, he's intelligent, he's talented, he's a full-fledged master, he's Son Mother Loving Gohan and he's not gonna get his arse beat by his seven year old brother. |
