He may be powerful ki wise and magic wise, but his blows can still not be that strong when your levels are about even. Gohan smashed that sword on sheer brute strength which a guy who lifts up buses is known for. Even in filler we see Gohan and Gokus strength physically is different as Goku and Piccolo struggle to lift a bus, whereas Saiyaman thinks its a piece of cake. Dabura like Vegeta and Goku thought it was Gohans skill and instincts that were trash. I think if Dabura is perfect cell level, Goku can certainly fight him and give him a better challenge than Gohan did. I mean Goku gave Cell a heck of a fight

If he dosen't, he probably wouldn't dodge it, and it'd be over for him. If he does, then his far superior skill would take down Dabura after a long battle, especially if he hits him with a Shunkan Ido Kamehameha.
