With his magic, he'd destroy anybody up to Kaioshin's caliber, which I think is somewhere around Android #16, give or take. |

Lolz, Pyrus don't get mad but I think Supreme Kai is closer to Cell (At least Semi-Perfect). Also, still don't get mad, but it's because Piccolo got frozen (Who I personally believe should be more than a match for Perfect Cell by the Buu Arc,) and they wanted to torture Supreme Kai. And to be fair, Supreme Kai put up a hell of a fight during his duel with Buu, so I'd put him up there. He's at least 1000 times tougher than Frieza, which sounds Cell-ish. That being said, Supreme Kai's magic is indeed what seems to do it. Piccolo figured out the magic quite easily too (Being that half of him is Kami, I think magic is much left effective on Piccolo than it is on someone like Gohan or Vegeta). So just by comparrisons of completely unrelated characters to the OP just to make a point, I'd say Babidi can handle anyone up to Krillin/Tien, or maybe the Boys. Anyone really weaker/dumber than Super Namek Piccolo (So... yeah he'd probably kill Goten and Trunks). Another creative one Glory, two for two son. |

Full power Perfect Cell?  Hell, any version of Cell beyond the suppressed form he fought Vegeta with is pretty outlandish. Even the highest guesses put Piccolo somewhere close to Vegeta and Trunks at the Cell Games, and then he's not suggested to have made any big gains from there to Boo; certainly none that would put him with guys like Teen Gohan.
A hell of a fight? His attacks barely budged Boo and he was almost literally squashed to death. That's not a hell of a fight, and him surviving means little considering which arc it is.

I wasn't saying they put up any better of a fight (although I think Gohan did), but to use the encounter with Boo as evidence of Kaioshin's strength is very flawed. It says nothing about his strength. The events in Babidi's spaceship are much better indicators, not this fight. |

^ The F*ck did I just say about getting tweaked? For the Cell thing, I always figured Piccolo, Trunks and Vegeta were all about the same tier, give or take. Implications made by the story (Maybe me reading between the lines) seem to make them out all to have the same potential of beating Cell before Goku names Gohan as his replacement. And he does fairly well against the Cell Juniors (Again, anime, but he doesn't get a showing in the manga.) As far as Supreme Kai goes... well respect is a form of power I suppose, he did defeat Piccolo that way. And hell, he lasted about as long as Gohan if not longer. So in that regard, sure I'll put him up there. Hell, Supreme Kai gets the rep points for actually doing SOMETHING compared to Gohan's JACKSH*T. Again, opinion I could keep going but we're getting radically off topic, and I don't want a repeat of the Broly competency debate I had with Ryder (You know the one) Anyway, yeah I think up to Super Namek Piccolo, (Which I think tops out with either Tien and Krillin or the Boys, depending on how you feel about the respective characters) Babidi wins. |

I'm not tweaked at all. Going by your tone, you are.
Cell seems to single out Vegeta and Trunks as having gotten stronger but still being no match for him, while grouping everybody else together as trash nonetheless. He does the same thing later on during the Cell Junior fight. Chapter: 402 (DBZ 208), P13.5 Context: after Goku says there’s other people to fight Cell besides him Cell: “It’s the same thing. Vegeta and Trunks may have raised their power, but they should still be inferior to you…” Chapter: 407 (DBZ 213), P5.3 Context: as the Cell Juniors beat everyone up Cell (to Gohan): “If you don’t show your true worth soon, things will go past the point of no return. Look closely. Vegeta or Trunks are barely fighting evenly…Even Son Goku is in trouble, having lost his stamina…” Note: Cell says that “Vegeta ya Trunks” are fighting evenly; ya is a non-exhaustive word for ‘and’, meaning the things listed aren’t necessarily the only things there are to list. In other words, Cell’s line doesn’t necessarily mean that nobody but Trunks or Vegeta are fighting evenly, just that they’re the first examples to come to mind.
That's the anime, where Tenshinhan and Yamcha manage to take down a Cell Junior while Mastered Super Saiyan Goku is getting his a*** kicked by it.
I think you're also forgetting the fact that Kaioshin was seen as a plaything by Boo whereas Gohan was not. It's made evident when Gohan tries to charge in for the last time before Boo blasts him, with Boo telling him he's no fun, while he's clearly enjoying his time with Kaioshin and even Babidi yells at him to stop fooling around and end it. That's the major reason why Kaioshin survived so long while Gohan was eliminated easily and quickly. I could also argue that Gohan was tired after exerting a chunk of energy into the Kamehameha intended to destroy Boo's egg, but that's beginning to stretch the boundaries and go into yet another topic.
I actually don't recall, but ah well. 
I could drag this into a whole other debate with this comment, but that would be way off-topic.

Do you refer to Piccolo right after fusing with Kami, or Piccolo in general after that ordeal? Sometimes it gets confusing when people only mean "Kamiccolo" or just Piccolo in general after the fusion. |
