If they didn't power-up after removing their weights, they should have at some point during the fight with Raditz, considering they were getting their asses handed to them like it was nothing. Not powering up would just make them look like complete a*** clowns, and make Toriyama look like he wanted to torture the two.

I have believed there was amp, but not as much as x2.5. But then again, SBC amp is like x4, so I don't know.

Nail will win in hand to hand combat though.
