Why did Captain Ginyu get so mad when Jeice tried to help him in battle?

I'm referring to when Jeice sent a blast Goku's way, and then Ginyu got Goku in his grasp. I mean, I could see how he would be bothered, but it got the point where he was on the brink of killing Jeice (sending a blast his way and saying that he was finished next time). Do you think he overreacted?

Captain Ginyu, unlike many other villains, have battle-honor. He wants to win by himself, without assistance. So no, I don't think he overreacted.

Basicly as Emmeth said. You don't really prove yourself stronger than the opponent by letting someone help you, and that, for villians mostly, wants to be the stronger than the opponent and prove it.

All that I am: anger, cruelty, vengeance, I bestow upon you, my chosen knight. I have granted you immortality so that you may herald in a new, dark age for the Scourge.

Ginyu did have honor. He did was a true warrior was suppose to do.

Jheese needs his a** kicked for that one.

Obviously because Jeice didn't do his blast with enough style, such sloppiness is not tolerated in the most elite force in the galaxy...

But yeah, it was warrior pride and all that. It wasn't Jeice's fight to get involved with.

Jeice was out of order, Captain Ginyu is the leader and only he can make decisions for the team so when Jeice did that, Ginyu saw an rebellion in his mind.

Pride is something dangerous

Its a double edged knife

If Pride can make u go on and on and makes u not to accept defeat and enhance ur character , it can also be the reason for ur downfall

This is just what happened to Ginyu . Giving too much importance to his pride cost him

^^ What they said, also he didnt show faith in his leader, by sending the blast he undermined Ginyu's authority, and as the leader you have to show dominance

I more think Captain Ginyu was having fun fighting someone strong. That's not exclusive only to Saiyans.

Jeice ruined his fun. There's no one outside Frieza in the knock universe at the time who could give Ginyu a fight like that.

Well later on he asked Jeice for help when Gohan and Krillin were giving him a beating. I think he got angry earlier because he was considering taking Goku's body and was testing him and didn't want the body overly damaged.
"The future of Gohan. The Future of Chi Chi. Not to mention the future of the entire universe. It all depends on me!!!! And I don't care if you're a million times stronger than me! I'm not going to let them down! So get ready Frieza because this time you're going Down!!!"
