I don't think anyone is saying Goten achieved SSJ2. But because Gotens hair doesn't blow back they are saying that is evidence for Goku and Gohan being SSJ2's. Edited by KingOfAllSaiyans, May 17 2013, 12:53 AM.

Here I go being Mr. Technical again... Spoiler: click to toggle This is normal SS Goten, in M10 during the final push he's missing a bang, and it was pushed up after the camera pans out.As for Kakarrot and Gohan, the bangs that stayed down are their heaviest bangs, and when Kakarrot has a burst of energy in SS that bang stays down, and the same goes for Gohan, and that long bang is actually thicker than Kakarrot... so, going by Kakarrot's hair patterns, Gohan's hair would stay down during a burst SS2 or not. @DSB. One of the arguments I've seen is that Gohan didn't have enough power left to go SS2, which is why he passed out, due to no longer having enough power left to sustain SS2. |

If he had the power to give everything he had in the Family KHH , he had enough to go SSj2 to give even more |

It's no different than Base Kakarrot beating Super 17. He didn't have the power to go SS4 again, but he still gave every last bit of power he had, to beat his enemy. GT=Movies. |

He's got six bangs here. Spoiler: click to toggle And then five bangs here. Spoiler: click to toggle Then in Movie 13 he's got four bangs for the majority of his appearance... Spoiler: click to toggle Except when he's about to perform Fusion with Trunks. Spoiler: click to toggle It varies between movies and even within the same movie. Him missing a bang during the beam struggle is just nitpicking, I think. Edited by Pyrus, May 17 2013, 05:48 AM.

The same goes for Kakarrot, his hairstyle is all over the place, and even when SS first appeared at one point he only had one bang. |

The difference is Goku has another transformation with a plausible hairstyle like that. |

Expect we have shots of Goku with 1 bang as a SSJ there is no shots of SSJ2 Goku with just one bang. |

The point is, his hair is Too inconsistent for that final push to be conclusive enough to say Kakarrot was SS2 or not. Also, if I really wanted to go there, I could post the screen cap of SS2 Kakarrot looking like SS, but that's too far and stretching beyond what I would agree with. |

Maybe because his Kamehameha is much weaker than the other's? Possibly? |

Well if wind is to be used, technically the same wind would hit Goten, yet he still had his bangs. That's why I think the other two were SSJ 2. |

Gohan was a SSj2 the entire beam struggle if I'm not mistaken. Goku was a regular MSSj and only had 1 bang during the very last push, you can actually see the exact moment he "loses" his bangs in the gif. I personally think it's wind, it doesn't seem like he transformed at all... |

Nope, at 0:22 Gohan Transforms and he clearly has Two bangs, then at 0:31 he fires his Kamehameha, and you can clearly see his bang does not fly up, but only is blown to the side. He was SS when he fires it. |
