That time when vegeta went crazy as hell and blasted cell all those times after trunks was killed. Im thinking that right after cell took vegetas first ki blast he could have used that opportunity to use instant transmission to teleport away. I meN think about it. everyone is shocked about vegetas sudden burst in power, even gohan. Cell could have used that distraction to teleport away and make vegeta waste all of his energy. I don't think that they can sense energy while they are using energy attacks. And then when vegeta finished with his onslaught cell transported back to the battlefield( i guessed that because gohan was sensing out his energy and was shocked when cells energy reappeared out of nowhere). I would like to hear anyones ideas on what cell could have been doing at that moment and why gohan didn't help vegeta out with killing cell. |

Well I'm not as eloquent a speaker as Suigetsu, but I'll agree there, it's clear that Cell didn't preceive him as a threat. In fact he was gonna just do a quick Death Beam to wipe out Vegeta too, and would have if Gohan hadn't saved his arse. So even if Cell did Instant Transmission out of the way, the result would have been the same. I suppose he probably just would have killed Veggie and been done with it, but Cell was busy musing over his state of being the Ultimate Lifeform. |

I really don't think Vegeta was able to do much to Cell, if anything, the most he was able to do was stun him for a second. The thing that people don't understand is that it's completely possible for a weaker person to stun a vastly stronger one if the stronger person isn't paying attention. We see this happen plenty of times in the series. Vegeta was able to do it to Cell as a distraction for Gohan to unleash his full power. Piccolo's able to do this when he kicks Freeza when Goku is gathering energy for the Genki Dama, and so on. |
