SSJ2 Gohan: End of Z-Sword Training

After the initial statements for us to consider SSJ2 Teen Gohans Power Level at the Tournament:
Vegeta about Gohan: "He had more power as a kid."
Vegeta to Goku: "At least you're stronger than your son was against Cell."

However, since the Tournament, Gohan got multiple Zenkais: Small and Big:
After Spopovich and Yamu drained his Ki to almost nothing, and have it almost immediately Restored. (Should be Big.)
Fighting Dabura and then eating a Senzu Bean after. (Small)
After being almost killed by (Fat) Majin Buu, and being healed. (Big)

And then engaging for a long period of time in Training with the Z-Sword.

So my question is: How Powerful is SSJ2 Gohan post Z-Sword Training, before he has his Ki Converted to the Ultimate Form.
Compared to the likes of: SSJ2 Vegeta, SSJ2/SSJ3 Goku, SSJ/SSJ3 Gotenks and Super Buu.

None of those zenkais except the one from Majin Boo can really be supported. Even then, it's shaky.

Gohan's strength is comparable to Fat Boo after the sword training. That's all we know.

Well, they get Zenkai's of anything of that sort, ranging from a very small one - very large one.

Yeah, well I was just asking for general estimations.
So you think SSJ2 Gohan at that point could take SSJ2 Vegeta and Goku. And possibly even be on par with SSJ3 Goku(At a slight disadvantage.)?

Zenkais come from near-death experiences. Gohan wasn't nearly dead after the Majins zapped his strength, nor was he nearly dead after fighting Dabura. The only situation that would qualify would be after losing to Majin Boo.

Goku wondered if Gohan would be powerful enough to contend with Majin Boo after the training was finished, implying the half-breed could be on par with Boo, who was close enough to Goku's strength that he'd need to go all-out to win. Gohan probably would be close to Goku's power, but he wouldn't be able to win unless he outlasted his father - the power gap would be just a bit too big.

Except that Zenkais were practically just a plot necessity to have the Saiyans quickly jump tiers to get on Freeza's level during the battle against him. They became almost unheard of after the Freeza Arc.

As for the topic, Gohan would without a doubt be able to take SS2 Vegeta/Goku with ease.

Chapter: 479 (DBZ 285), P5.2-4
Context: when the Z Sword breaks, after Gohan trained with it for a day
Gohan: “But…thanks to that, my arm strength has increased a lot. That Z Sword was incredibly heavy, after all…Perhaps this was what they meant by me obtaining the greatest power in the world.”
Kaioshin: “I-I get it…If he’s acquired that much power in his regular state, then if he becomes a Super Saiyan it will become an even more substantial power-up…! Ye-yeah! That’s it! That’s definitely the greatest power in the world…!”
Goku: “…But…Is he greater than Majin Boo?...I wonder…”

Goku only wondering if Gohan could beat Boo shows that Goku's estimation of SSJ/SS2 Gohan should be close enough to Boo to make it questionable.

Edit: Looks like Pyrus beat me to it.

Gohan has now taken his rightful place in hierarchy of th Saiyans. I like to think that the Zeta Sword training would be equal to if he had trained for 7 years.

Gohan is several levels above Goku know, widening the gap he had on Goku at the Cell Game, but still not enough for Majin Buu.

Yeah. I agree, he'd take SSJ2 Vegeta and Goku.
And be on on a similar level to SSJ3 Goku and (Fat) Majin Buu, at a slight disadvantage perhaps.

(Say if Goku and Gohan fought it would go like this. Goku would have the advantage in SSJ3, but if he didn't manage to beat Gohan before he looses SSJ3 because of the massive energy strain. Gohan would definitely win, unless Gohan's pretty worn because of the disadvantage, to the point that SSJ2 Goku and Gohan would be equal.)

However, Super Buu and SSJ3 Gotenks are definitely stronger than SSJ2 Gohan Post Z-Sword Training.

It's probably something like this between Gohan and Goku:
Base Gohan(Tournament): 60
Base Goku: 100
Base Gohan: 300
MSSJ Gohan(Tournament): 600
MSSJ Goku: 1000
SSJ2 Gohan(Tournament): 1200
SSJ2 Goku: 2000
MSSJ: Gohan: 3000
SSJ2 Gohan: 6000
SSJ3 Goku: 8000

People have taken that scene completely out of context.

The tremendous power the Z Sword was foretold to grant is revealed to come from the abilities of the Elder Kaioshin sealed within, it had nothing to do with wielding the sword.

Thirty minutes before Goku reunites with him, Gohan establishes how he isn’t at his father’s level:

Chapter: 476 (DBZ 282), P12.3-5
Context: as Gohan trains with the Z Sword
Kaioshin: “…This is absolutely unbelievable…To think that he’d become able to swing the Z Sword around so much in such a short period of time.”
Gohan: “…Father gave it his all and continued training even after going to the afterlife…I’ve got to draw closer to him, even just a li-little bit…Because Ma-Majin Boo is still alive…!”

Gohan is not going to regain his former strength, then reach Goku & Vegeta’s level, and then somehow attain SSJ3/Majin Buu tier power in a span of hours by just swinging a sword around. It is not possible. After training with the Z Sword, Gohan would be lucky just reclaiming the strength he had at the Cell Games, I wouldn’t even put him there personally.

Even if he's still no where near close to SSJ3 Goku and (Fat) Majin Buu.
He's at least more powerful than SSJ2 Goku.

for goku even to consider SSj2 Gohan about beating Fat buu , it means Gohan is near SSj3 Goku and fat buu

Plot dictates power, even should logic go against it. Logically, Piccolo shouldn't have been able to gain power that Nail would view as "incredible" in 6 days of training, yet he did.

If SSJ2 Gohan was weaker than SSJ3 Goku and Fat Boo. But not by much.
And was a fair bit more powerful than SSJ2 Goku.
If Goku taught and trained Gohan to be able to go SSJ3.

Base Goku: 100
Base Gohan: 300
MSSJ Gohan(Tournament): 600
MSSJ Goku: 1000
SSJ2 Gohan(Tournament): 1200
SSJ2 Goku: 2000
MSSJ: Gohan: 3000
SSJ2 Gohan: 6000
(Fat) Majin Buu: 7000
SSJ3 Goku: 8000
SSJ3 Gohan: 24'000

I think he'd be coming closish to Ultimate Gohan.
Even then, he'd still be weaker. And have massive energy drain. While Ultimate Form has no strain.

I don't think Super Gohan is on that train either. I think he's of the mindset that Piccolo barely passed 10,000, if that.

Unless I'm thinking of Moocow since the two both have similar beliefs when it comes to this stuff, although Moo has softened over the years.
