It takes energy to regenerate so if that happens, then his stamina and power will drop. Maybe not a large amount but perhaps enough to make this easier on Gogeta. Cell can say/be what he wants, but Gogeta would make him look like a fool skills-wise.

It has a unique property that atomized an enemy from the inside out. If Cell requires intense focus to defeat an external attack like the Final Flash (even with that tough carapace), than his much softer and less dense center should be easy to destroy, along with that Central Control Cell. I think Gogeta's battle with Cell will be about the same length as his duel with Janemba. Efficient, no nonsense, lethal.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball Z(done), Naruto(done), Fairy Tail(reading)	Well there is a certain reasons... And we should NOT count regeneration as an advantage... That makes it unfair as SSJ5 Vegito even weaker than Cell if you put Same power level... Alright, Gogeta has these advantages, They can go up to SSJ3. (IF Gotenks can do it, I don't see why Gogeta can't..) They have new moves, such as Final Kamehameha, Big Bang Kamehameha. And if you are saying that Gogeta can lose limbs easily than Cell, than you are wrong. Goku and Vegeta have body that ONLY the power of Nukes can fry up their body. If they both fuse, the would be most likely to just get a scratch... Also, Goku is a master fighter, thinking of ways to find weakness and advantages during the fight, Vegeta on the other hand has the power and tactics, he is also considerably strong as Goku is.
