Rules: -Gohan can sustain KKx2 unlimited, but cannot use ki attacks -Gohan can use KKx3, but Zarbon is able to transform and gets decently amped ki attacks. - * Gohan must be 12 000 Who wins in both scenarios? Edited by SSJ, May 13 2013, 11:00 PM.

Not very long. Lets peg him at 12 000 to be exact. |

Considering nothing contradicts Gohan's guidebook reading of 14,000, he should be able to take down Base Zarbon pretty quickly, and compete with Monster Zarbon. Judging on the wording of scenario 2, I guess Zarbon can't transform in scenario 1? In which case, in s1, Gohan rips him apart. In s2 Zarbon should be able to last out just long enough for Gohan's stamina to start failing. Then again, Zarbon's stamina in his rematch with Vegeta was presented as so pathetic that Gohan's short time in KKx3 might be enough to land a fatal blow. |

CC why do you think he needs to be as high as 14k? I've always considered him lower because all they say is he is over 10k. Also beating Guldo really isn't an impressive feat. |

Because I see nothing at all contradicting his 14k reading, especially considering how he seemed to stand up to Vegeta straight after the potential unlocking. |

He was only about half of Vegeta's power at the time, wasn't he? Would 14k or 12k really make a difference? |

True, but really, every little helps. Better a little more than a little less. Plus, as I said, there's absolutely nothing contradicting the guidebook entry. |

An argument could be made that since it was more of a vague reading, it should be closer to 10 000. Chapter: 274 (DBZ 80), P8.4 Jheese: “This is unexpected. Those little squirts' battle powers surpassed 10,000." Wouldn't you think it would be more exact if they were up to 14 000? For example: Chapter: 288 (DBZ 94), P13.2-4 Context: Ginyu powers up in Goku’s body Ginyu: "Guhahahahaha...!!!! Jheese!! How much is my battle power?!" Jheese: ".....Twe... 23,000...." Ginyu: “Twe…23,000…only 23,000…!?” He didn't just say, "you're over 20 000" he gave an exact reading. Also with Vegeta post Zenkai it was said that his power had risen close to 30 000, which should mean close. Here it just says they surpassed 10 000, so I think it would have been more exact if it were as high as 14k. That is just my opinion. |

The author wouldn't use the word "over" or "surpassing" to describe a low reading. |

What do you mean? Chapter: 224 (DBZ 30), P11.3/P12.2-4 Nappa: “Ve-Vegeta…How high has Kakarot’s battle power become?!” Vegeta: “Over 8,000.” Nappa: “Over 8,000?! It’s a mistake! It’s broken!” |

You mean to say 8000 was a low reading back then? =/ |

10k should still be a low reading considering only a couple people broke the 20k mark. Edited by SSJ, May 13 2013, 11:37 PM.

Pay attention to the time period and context, not how rare it is. |
