We know that East Kaioshin was attacked by Buff Buu: he was either the last or the second-to-last Kaioshin to be attacked: Chapter: 508 (DBZ 314), P4.3-4 Context: Kaioshin explains Boo's history Kaioshin: “…First, two [Kaioshins] were killed…the North Kaioshin and the West Kaioshin….And then the South Kaioshin, the burliest and strongest one, was…somehow absorbed by Boo…..” Elder Kaioshin: …And he become that huge Boo from before?“ Kaioshin: “…Yes……” As you can see, West and North were the first to go, then South, who instead absorbed. After that, East and Grand were attacked, with the latter saving the former somehow (this poses another question: how did Grand get Buff Buu to absorb him?), but yet... Chapter: 508 (DBZ 314), P4.2 Kaioshin: “In m…my era there were five Kaioshins…until they were defeated by the Majin Boo that the wizard Babidi created…I was the youngest and most powerless one, but I somehow survived, with only heavy injuries…But the other four fell to Boo.” ...he still suffered injuries, thus he must have been attacked by Buff Buu. Hold on though, shouldn't the gap between the two of those be somewhere close to 1 million fold? Durability feats aren't regarded very highly, but this is just ridiculous. |

He could have been injured before the absorptions took place... or could have been extremely lucky and survived due to a combination of carelessness [on Buu's part] and cowardice [on his part]. Possibly a situation similar to Bardock surviving Dodoria. |

Grand Kai 'somehow' saved Supreme Kai and was somehow absorbed for whatever reason. The same can be said about South Kai who was 'somehow' absorbed, and for whatever reason. We don't know. |
