He was an SSj2 during the fight and by the end of the beam duel he was an SSj2. It would be foolish to think otherwise that at the very least Gohan didn't go SSj2. SSJ Gohan and SSj Goten using all of their power could not so much as falter Broly's blast. Once SSj Goku entered the fray...they could barely hold it back. To even remotely suggest that nobody was an SSj2 at the time is just hog wash. It wouldn't make sense. One moment SSj Goku,Gohan and Goten can barely handle the attack, next moment they can suddenly blitz through Broly's attack like its nothing without any sort of change? Actually Piccolo remarks that Majin Vegeta has a similar ki to kid Gohan and even wonders if Vegeta is perhaps stronger. We know Vegeta is stronger overall but it's certainly not by a lot. --- --- As for the KHH, you have the combined power of at least SSj2 Gohan, SSj Goku and SSj Goten (At the very least) because all evidence points to Gohan being an SSj2. That's SSj2 Gohan+ KHH multiplier+ SSJ Goku+KHH multiplier+SSJ Goten+KHH multiplier. Put it this way, assuming the KHH is about 2x amplifier (Even though its proven to be larger but we'll go with that for now and we'll slightly lower the amp for Goten just because he lacks training with it.) Broly was able to handle an attack that has a 5-6x amplified attack. They needed something stronger than 5-6x amplified attack to kill Broly. There is no reason whatsoever to think that Broly, especially after he throttled SSj2 Adult Gohan with but maybe three moves and is capable of handling a KHH of that magnitude that he wouldn't at least be around if not stronger than Majjin Vegeta.

I became hesitant when I looked through my movie album on Photobucket and came across this picture: But then I went back and watched the scene again, looking specifically for that image. I couldn't find it. Gohan is missing his second bang throughout the rest of the beam struggle after Goku shouts "Together!" It may be the aspect ratio cutting off part of the screen, since I'm watching the newest Blu-ray edition and that screencap might have come from the DVD. I can pause it at that exact moment, but the aspect ratio seems smaller than that screencap regardless if I change it in the player settings; so I think that's just the way the Blu-ray is. I digress. When the camera pans out, it's clear that Gohan has a single bang. There is no second bang anywhere to be seen, whether flopping around somewhere in his hair because of the wind, or wriggling around on the floor next to him. I've looked through a handful of Youtube videos of the scene in HD as well and it's the same thing.

In the screencap that I just posted, yeah, I see that. What I don't see is that same thing in the Blu-ray edition, nor on any Youtube videos, nor when the camera pans out. In all of those Gohan has one bang.

The best one Favourite Manga They all suck	We tend to go by the Kanzenban re-release as opposed to the very original manga if anything's altered, don't we? Edit: Might as well go with quantity. I wish I still had the VHS I had, because it's quite different from the DVD I had.
