 I've always thought that Spopavich was partially dead. Videl was able to kick his head nearly off, and the guy didn't die, and was barely injured at all. No other person possessed by Bobbidi is seen with those type of unnatural abilities.

If this is the case, than it makes sense why Goku couldn't sense his ki. Ki is a combination of mind, body, and spirit. If his spirit wasn't there and he was simply some type of animated corpse, than it makes sense why Goku wouldn't be able to sense it.

 It's because Babidi has completely taken over him and controlling him..
So, the source of power is magic, instead of chi. . . perhaps.

EDIT: Also, like Ketchup said, he should be dead by now. It is magic that controls him and makes him durable - gives him energy. And therefore we can presume (is that the right word?) that he uses magic as a source of energy to keep on fighting and surviving.

Another possibility, maybe Babidi is controlling his every move with magic (the moment he is fighting), which means that Spopo isn't using any of his OWN energy. . . But I doubt that this would be the case.

 Just Becoz Babidi didnt control vegeta fully , it doesnt mean that his ki wasnt changed

I believe nothing of that sort happened . Goku wasnt able to sense Spopovich becoz he hid his Ki

By anyone could not sense majin's Ki , how did vegeta and Goku became confident in having the power to beat Pui-pui , Yakon ?
How did they compare Dabura with Cell if they couldnt sense Dabura's ki ?

 Simple. If Dabura is Babidi's #1 guy and they think he's trash to them, what does that say about Pui and Yakon?

He can hide his ki, but if it was simply a case of hiding his ki, Goku's comment would've been pointless I'd think...

Vegeta said that it they watch out for Dabra's spit, that they should be able to manga something. Nothing said about trash per se; that's hyperbole.
