Chrome Favourite Manga Dragonball Z	Gohan during the cell games had the hairstyle shaped a bit like Goku's. How come when he turned into a SSJ, it wasn't formed as SSJ Goku's would? It stayed the exact same, except it was just blond/golden. He should have been like his SSJ2 hair, except a bit shorter.

You can't just make him look exactly like Goku, he needs to be special in his own way. Goten, on the other hand was meant to resemble Goku, that was part of HIS character. The characters mentione it several times that Goten looked A LOT like Goku.

I'm pretty sure Chi Chi's hair grows down because she is a girl (Girls have long hair) and it would look weird for her to have hair sticking straight up. So we can take Chi Chi out of the equation.

It wasn't quite resemble that of Gokus hairstyle not the same just like BatmanTDK117 said they had to be different and their not the same on the other hand Goten was design to be Gokus reincarnation at first but fans argue with that so they both played so its pretty much logic to resemble him on every way even hairstyle😃😃

How can you "Take Chi Chi out of the equation"? She's his other parent. He has as much of her DNA as he does Goku's, and Gohan's hair does have some of her traits. I understand your premiss about the hair design of girls, but it's obvious that's not the point considering that Trunks's hair is entirely Bulma's (In the manga, at least). Or like Trunks, Where he had 2 pieces of hair dropping on his forehead.
