Do you think that laser eyes are actually one of the most useless super powers?

I wouldn't want Scott Summers-style eye lasers, but controllable eye lasers would be pretty cool. It wouldn't have much use in our world though, so yeah, I guess it's overrated.

How's life been treating you lately, man?: Not too bad thanks. Had some medication issues the past few weeks, but that's all sorted now, so I'm happy that's all sorted.

Listened to any new good music lately?: Mostly hip-hop. Two rappers, Joe Budden and Mick Jenkins, have been getting heavy play lately. I've also started listening to Creed (I like Alter Bridge and they share some band members). Only their last album, but I like it and will probably give some more of their stuff a listen.

Seen any good movies/tv shows?: I finally got around to Fear The Walking Dead and enjoyed that. Interesting to see a different side to the world created and how everything unfolded. I'm currently watching Spartacus, on season 3, and it's brilliant. I love Roman history (although I don't think the show is historically accurate), so had high hopes for it, and it's definitely lived up to them.

How's basketball going?: The new season started last week, so I'm happy about that. Because there are multiple games on basically every night of the season, it leaves a big void during the off-season, so I'm excited to be able to get back to watching games and reading articles on it. I haven't played much lately since the weather's starting to get wetter and darker earlier, which limits opportunities to get out and play.

Who's your top transfer target for Liverpool coming january/summer?: I think a centre-back is definitely needed. Sakho definitely has a place in a great defensive partnership, but Skrtel can be prone to errors. I think an industrious, defensive minded centre-midfielder would definitely add to the squad. And wingers, if that's the style of play that Klopp wants to play. I would give names, but I don't really know who's available, who's good enough, who's a realistic target etc.

Definitely Lost (obvious answer there :P). I think it's amazing that he had to relearn Korean (I think he had spoken pretty much exclusively English since his teens) to play the character. I don't know Korean, so I don't know how accurate his accent was, but he was convincing enough that I was surprised to learn that English was his primary language. He was solid in 24 too, even if it was a smaller role.

Life's going alright thanks. Enjoying the drier, hotter weather. I just got finished doing a two year therapy course I was referred to, so I'm gonna take a little break since some of it was heavy going, and then I'm gonna look for some education or volunteer work (or both). Not sure what course yet though, gotta figure that out.

Sad to see him retire, especially since he had visibly lost it this year. He was one of my favourite guys to watch when I first got into the NBA in 09/10. I think it's good for the Lakers to be able to move into the new era now. They've got Russell, Clarkson, Randal and now the No.2 pick (most likely Brandon Ingram, who's highly rated) to build around, which is a solid foundation.

Like I said, I like their core of Russell, Clarkson, Randal and most likely Brandon Ingram in this year's draft. Plus, Luke Walton is a promising young coach. They owe next year's pick to Philly if it falls outside the top 3, so they need to be bad again this year to keep that pick. That gives them some time to let their core grow together, add one more top 3 pick to that group, and then start getting good again in 2017/18.

Yeah, I'm excited. I haven't watched much of this year's play-offs for some reason, but I'll watch every Finals game. I'm not really rooting for anyone, I just want the series to be a good one.

Hard to argue against that. His three point shooting is just unfair, and his ball handling is probably the best in the league too.

I have not. I'm not a big anime fan; I much prefer reading manga, and I definitely intend to read Attack on Titan. I actually own the first two volumes, but haven't gotten around to reading them yet.
