Definitely. There are a lot of things I'd like to change about the way my mind works. I wish I wasn't so negative about things. I wish I was more motivated. I wish I didn't think so much. Lots of stuff. But I am happy with some aspects of myself.

Yeah, I have done that before. I like seeing what other people's philosophies are on certain things.

For TV shows: pretty much any thing that's good. Anything that's either got a good plot, can make me laugh, or a combination of the two.

For books: mainly fantasy, although I have been branching out more.

For games: probably sports, since I play a lot of Fifa and NBA 2K, but I like RPGs too.

Watching TV shows calms me down. It occupies my mind, doesn't give me opportunity to overthink and get anxious since I'm focusing on the screen. Music. Going for a walk. When I have anxiety/panic attacks, I'll call my mum and she does a good job of calming me down.

Good question. I guess because older people are less physically ad mentally up for the job, but you're right, a lot of our youth is wasted in school or working.

Anyway, I'm gonna head off to get some shut eye, I enjoyed the conversation! I'll have to ask you some questions next time.

Crazy Awesome Legend

Did you like primary school?

I've been having this strange fantasy where my current mind gets sent back to my four year old self. I think I've mentioned this a few times actually. Comes from my recent realisation that I missed out on a lot of social things due to my autism. Oh look I made your thread about me.

From what I remember I enjoyed it. It was definitely the easiest time of my life school-work wise. I never really had to try hard to excel, so I was able to mess around and enjoy myself and still get a lot of praise, whereas in secondary school the best I could get without trying was average grades (and was constantly told 'you need to try harder', which I didn't like).

I used to fantasise abut that too, try to kid myself that if I went back in time to a younger age that I could rectify all my regrets (one being not trying hard enough at school), but in all likelihood, I probably wouldn't have changed much.

I have two friends I consider my closest friends. Friend A's best quality: he's really funny, probably the funniest person I know. He's also loyal, and cares a lot about his family and friends. Friend B's best quality: how much we gel together. I lived with him for a few years and it was just so easy, some of the most enjoyable years of my life (which is weird, since it coincided with a lot of my depression, but that kicked in more when I was on my own in my room).
