Which brand did you prefer in the Ruthless Aggression Era?

The Ruthless Aggression Era started around 2002 after the WWF became WWE, and ended in around 2007.

For me, I prefer SmackDown. It had Eddie, Benoit, Booker, Heel Cena, Angle, Lesnar. It was awesome.

My favourite Ruthless Aggression Era match was Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship in a 60 minute Iron Man match. My second favourite match of all time.

SmackDown was underrated back then. It was the 'B' show to RAW :@

I enjoyed RAW as well, just not as much.

Raw was always be equal to or greater then smackdown.

Almost every great thing smackdown had Raw was able to at least equal it overall.

In that time period I preferred Smackdown. Raw is far superior to it now though.

Not so sure, I think Smackdown has more better quality matches these days, as for Raw being more known it's more glamour more than anything.

Yeah very good feud, everyone didn't understand who is this new WWE Champion going on rapping, and for Edge it was an opportunity to come to the Main Event scene and build two new stars within the industry.Just before this Edge a good feud as well with Matt Hardy, remember that?

Are you sure Cena was a heel ? I think he was one of the only big name superstars who was face for his whole career. Just for the record I liked Raw more during that time.

Cena was Heel up till 2004:that's why some want him to turn back.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

From about 2002-2005 was the time I was watching wrestling and I was a Raw person. I remember it being a bit more adult, like Smackdown was the more family-friendly franchise and Raw was a little bit edgier. I loved the Evolution storylines too, so that helped.

Smackdown got me into wrestling around early-mid 2004. Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, heel John Cena, Kurt Angle, Undertaker, etc. They were must-watch. The matches and storylines were quality that WWE hasn't had in many years.

Raw was great, too, but the whole Evolution thing got played out and annoyed me. It was only after Orton and Batista got kicked out that I really started enjoying Raw.
