Didn't Toriyama draw 100% EVERYTHING in the series?

I read on Kanzenshuu, in the section with fan mail for Toriyama that his assistant drew some of the backgrounds in the manga for him. Does anyone know if that's true or not?

iirc AT had one assistant, who did the coloring. well, not actual coloring, but filling in things like goku's hair, etc.
list of canon sources:

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

for those that blindly follow word of god

The Prince of All Saiyans/Debaters.

Toriyama didn't wanted the Assistants to control or even to change the story of which he has planed, Yes they would advise him a little bit on the mistakes but they would just do the filling in order for Toriyama to produce a story which people loved.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

In all honesty, when Dragon Ball was released in manga form, it was actually released by a team of artists with Toriyama at the head of the art and story. Toriyama did all the characters, while his assistants did more minor things and details like birds, backgrounds, landscapes, colors, and things of that nature. There was even one for drawing the speech balloons and panels.

Simply put, with coming up with the story, dealing with editors, drawing covers and promotional art, producing the manga for 10-13 pages per week, and dealing with interviews and everything else, a team is needed to make deadlines. There's no way someone would be able to do it themselves.
