Posts: 7 Group: New Member Member #9,215 Joined: March 18, 2013	1. How come Vegeta grew so much after being on Namek/his first arrival on earth..I mean its quit obvious he did. Any logical reason to it (less gravity???) or was it just made up so his head doesn't stop at Bulma's bellybutton? 2. I do certainly wonder why Bulma had so much interest in Vegeta in the first place. At Namek she feared him badly, even had a nightmare about him killing her. And suddenly when he's heading to space (or about to come back) after being teleported to the earth once more, she cares about him running out of fuel? Or even having a romantic dream(i dont know what the manga says about this scene or was it just in the anime?) or remember the gravity room explosion...I dont get it. Any reasons beside plothole or 'needed her to have a baby with Vegeta'-intentions of AT? 3. its kind of relate to 2 but..idk, I feel much as if the only real person that matters to Vegeta is Goku. Ofc he blew himself up against Buu for his family and stuff(hugging trunks etc), but beside that, I dont see much of attention directed towards them. What is mainly playing part in his thoughts is Goku and i dont only mean his drive to surpass Goku, but just in general how he oberserves him, compares himself, etc etc. There's barely anything beside that in his head. Also later when he gets attached to Goku Goku totally has him wrapped around his finger, he always had the right words to makw Vegeta do what he actually wants in a way that nobody else does. To be honest if Goku was a girl, I don't think Trunks would've been born...

To be honest if Goku was a girl, I don't think Trunks would've been born... Simply put: because a lot of the stuff you pointed out is filler, anime-only, or dub. Bulma never had the nightmare in the manga, and Vegeta stayed short in the manga up through the Boo Saga. Vegeta's obsessed with his Saiyan heritage and his high blood status, and in his head, no Saiyan is supposed to be stronger than him because of this. That's the whole reason why he feels the need to prove himself as stronger than Goku. Vegeta by the Boo Arc had come to terms with the fact that he'd never be stronger than Goku, because he needed the Majin Power up to compete with Goku at SSj2; and not only that, he later discovered that Goku had been holding back on him, and had an even more powerful transformation that he'd kept to himself.
