And Vegeta had to go twice in Rosat , plus got Majin. Goku is all natural. | |

Vegeta didn't get the same training as Goku. Goku trained with Kaio-sama and learned the Kaio-ken. He got to train in Anoyo, and didn't even age. And still, Vegeta was about the same level when they fought in Boo arc (yes, I know, Majin etc). |

Why? Vegeta starts as a kid above King Vegeta , while Goku is Hercule level lol. | |

I think the first year before Trunks is conceived has a lot to do with it. I think a saiyan training hard at base will gain more than saiyan training hard as a SSJ. I still think base and SSJ increase together but you have to train both to stay sharp in both forms. Also Goku had to power down to train Gohan, I believe Piccolo was the only one training with SSJ Goku. Finally the gap between Goku and Vegeta wasn't that big. Other than SSJ Goku and Vegeta could have been closer in power and then in the Android saga Vegeta is only stronger than Goku to the point that it takes Piccolo to say that Vegeta is a little ahead. |

It does. The difference between the powers they have , how Goku surpasses him after Saiyan Arc. Vegeta uses Majin to give him power , it ends up equal to Goku SSJ2. Goku never got such a things of those. Even Gohan,Piccolo and Krillin does everything to get their power higher. Goku ends up all natural , never received something from others , it goes all natural , gets a SSJ3 from his training. |

Goku had different mentors. Vegeta had only himself to rely on. I think that helped a lot for Goku. |

Kakkorot learned different techniques and striving skills. That is why Kakkorot has very few attacks that was created by him. Kakkorot as a child, got flicked by Kami-sama. Kakkorot as a adult, got kicked hard by Raditz-bratha Kakkorot as a dead man, got whooped by Gravity. While, Vegeta as a child, Kills. Vegeta as a adult, Kills. Vegeta as a good man, still Kills. |

Na Broly's potential makes Gohan look like a chump. Broly literally was given Ssj2 level training for doing nothing. | |

Vegeta had enhanced gravity as well to assist with his training. But there's also the possibility that Vegeta didn't actually surpass Goku. We don't know because we never see Goku at 100% in the Android Arc. | |

Piccolo has seen it, and he's the one to let us know that Vegeta's surpassed him so I'd be inclined to believe him. | |
