Shouldn't GT Goku at the Rildo have surpassed Vegetto?

It's generally considered that SSJ3 Vegetto from the canon would be able to beat some form of Baby Vegeta, but I'm not so sure. Base Goku was clearly stronger than Rilldo, who was stronger than Buuhan, yet it seems clear that Base Vegetto was not stronger than Buuhan since he transformed right away. Considering this, shouldn't Vegetto actually be lower than Goku at that point in the series?

Yes he surpassed him. Since GT follows Manga (actually it doesn't matter as Anime Buuhan is still stronger though ) , Vegito is of course weaker than Buuhan.

Still , Buuhan didn't find Vegito impressive , shown after he powered up against SSJ Vegito , and anime wise , SSJ Vegito having a tough time breaking Buuhan's shield.

I always thought it was SSJ Vegetto that was getting referred, since that was the strongest ki felt. Base Vegetto wouldn't have anything to do with it, really. Whether he's stronger or weaker than Boohan..

At the end of day: Super Baby Vegeta 1(strongest ki felt) > Baby Vegeta > SSJ3 Goku > Base Goku(at Rildo) - Rildo > Boohan - Base Vegetto.

SSJ Vegetto was the highest ki felt, that's who he was talking about. Plus, the gap between SSJ Vegetto and Boohan may be large enough for Base Goku to make his way at the BOGT. Especially with the gains he gets to make way, but low SSJ multipliers not to get and cause some inconsistency.

Considering that Super Vegetto could have been up to 50x stronger than Buuhan (depending on your multiplier, it makes sense. Also it appears that the SSJ Multipliers in GT went way down.

I usually go with:
SSJ: 2.5x
SSJ2: 1.75x
SSJ3: 4x

50x stronger than Buuhan in GT. There is no way Toei used anything less than 50x for the SSJ multiplier.

Well since GT should follow anime since it follows Movie

Id say no, The gap between Vegito and Buuhan was well past the 50x mark since his base was said to toy with him

Id say Goku maybe Surpasses him at SSJ but Rildo not

Base Vegetto Vs. Ultimate Boo never happened in the Manga, only in the Anime.

Vegetto went SS right away in the Manga.

So, no. Ultimate Boo>Base Vegetto.

The SSJ multipliers in GT are suggested to have been lowered given that Base Goku was described to be at just 'less than half' of SSJ Goku, which is a severe understatement if the multiplier were still 50x or even 10x. The GT SSJ multiplier that most tend to use is 2.5~3x, Vegetto's is likely larger.
