If you're knocked out of the ring, you lose. 2. If you're knocked out and counted out, you lose. 3. No weapons allowed. 4. No killing. That's basically it. BUT... elaborating on the first rule: IF there is a ceiling, does that count as "out of the ring" ? Goku is obviously touching the ceiling here, and it is during the BT, though elimination rounds. In the Anoyo BT, both Goku and Pikkon touches the "ceiling" and is disqualified. I know it's filler, but wouldn't the same rules apply? What's your thoughts? Edited by Emmeth, Apr 10 2013, 06:41 PM.

True that standing on your head makes the ceiling the ground, but it's still within the confines of the ring area. So it shouldn't be a ring out. However if they touch the ceiling in an area that's not in the confines of the ring then it's definitely a ring out.

Therefore I argue that anyone who steps into the ring must be automatically disqualified for stepping on the equivalent of the ceiling as well since space has no meaning to general directions such as that. See I can bull**** my way through it as well. Heck, standing on your head doesn't make the ceiling the floor, it make the ceiling the ceiling, you're just upside down. It's like if I kicked the wall, my foots on the wall, that doesn't make the wall the floor, it's the wall.

I always wondered about this as well, but if no one said anything, than I assume it was legal. Unless the rules in the Preliminaries are more lenient than the actual Finals.
