I think it would be better if they were almost secret. like you had to find Tien in the mountains to fight him and gain the exp. piccolo out meditating somewhere. but only in the training periods in the story. |

That would work too, but in some ways it would be a bit humorous to stomp someone that would normally beat the crap out of you. |

Minigames would be fun, like in BT3's Ultimate Warrior/Sim Dragon mode. Again, we'd avoid doing stupid things like flying through rings, it'd be stuff like fighting Multi-Forms/Dark versions of yourself. Or alternately having to do a certain amount of blocks, etc. I think the training would just be story dependent and we WOULD totally get a bit more experience from actual battles, limiting the level grinding (Hence why I prefer the fighting mechanic, vs a traditional RPG mechanic simply because I hate to level ground.) |

Level grinding is where you have to fight a thousand faceless enemies to get strong enough to handle something. It's kinda like when you're fighting wild Pokemon before battling Brock in Pokemon or the Elite Four. Not trainer fights, but things like wild Ratata and Geodudes and such. It's lengthy and annoying. |

Ahh ok. I think through Training you should get anywhere from 14 to 12 the XP you get from Battles, but it would be interesting if the Story did let you somehow escape if you're badly injured... and yes, I think if you're a Saiyan, then you should get a Zenkai from this, and if you're not, then equip something that works as a Zenkai... to make things more fair to non Saiyans. |

I can dig that, adds a little realism to the story. Alternately maybe the Zenkai could just function as getting a bonus item or something. Like if you fight Majin Buu as a Namekian and win, you automatically get an item that enables Super Saiyan transformations, but if you fight him as a Saiyan, beat him and then go for a heal after being below 20% health, then in addition to the one Super Saiyan Capsule you get as a reward, you also get... I dunno General Vest or something. The experience makes more sense, but that's just a thought. |

Lol I wouldn't know... I rarely used any of those Capsules. I mainly used Transformations, and anything that kept my Ki from dropping fast. I just thought getting a Zenkai would bring that feel from the Manga/Show to the Game. |

You dont have to level grind in all rpgs, Chrono trigger you never have to back track and battle enemies, if you battle most of the enemies you find along the way you will be a high enough level to fight the boss. |

Same can be (Kinda) said for Skies of Arcadia, but the vast majority of RPGs do require a ridiculous amount of grinding. Hell, even LOZ gets into it when you have to Ruppie Farm to get bigger bags and certain items like the magic armor. |

Perhaps you could make it to where you have to be at less than 10% health to get a zenkai (that way it prevents people further from zenkai grinding). The gains should be somewhat proportionate to the one Vegeta got from fighting on Earth where he jumped from like 18,000 to 23 or 24,000. No massive ones unless you somehow win with less than 1% of your health. |

15% sounds a touch more reasonable eh? Methinks? That way it's still a bonus (15% still isn't enough to protect you from a Super Move) but the number is so low that you actively have to try or just get lucky to attain. |
