Then everyone would have respected and hailed Gohan and all. Hercule would probably lose his fortune too. Then in the Buu saga, Hercule wouldn't be having the mission to stop Fat Boo and millions of people would have probably been killed. Gohan therefore would have been already laying down as he was defeated by Boo.

Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball and Naruto	Well, then Hercule wouldn't be known as the savior anymore and wouldn't have a whole city named after him. Gohan would probably get all the credit, but he'd probably disappear after that, as well as the other Z fighters. People would probably eventually find him though, and he'd have to embrace his role as the hero. That's pretty much it though, I can still see him getting together with Videl to, someway or another

I assume that Yamcha, Tien, and Krillin would be recognized from past tourneys. Tien and Krillin both go back into obscurity. Yamcha soaks in the fame. Piccolo and Vegeta likely step in and remind people they are the Demon King and Saiyan who attacked years ago to make people leave the boy alone and not crowd into his personal life Chi is the wildcard, as she always wanted him to make money. She could very well try to milk the money and integrate him into life and it be called Son City. It wouldn't impact Gohan, but I believe it may make Goten much less innocent and more like Kid Trunks in personality Edited by Kblo247, Apr 3 2013, 02:32 AM.

I think that alone for him kinda made it worth it not to be the hero that killed Cell. Yamcha would have milked the hell out of the whole deal, that I agree with. But I don't think Gohan really wanted that fame. Think about it, Gohan wore a mask as the Great Saiyaman and hid himself as The Gold Fighter. He stands up for what's right, and protects the innocent. But he enjoys a normal life. I think that's why he stuck with the path of the scientist later in Z and GT. He wanted to work hard and earn everything rather than throwing his super powers around and having things handed to him. I think that speaks to the virtues Gohan stands for as well as his character. That... and personally I like the idea of having a girlfriend that can fly. Just me though.

She only let him enter the budokai as well as Goten because she wanted money. Her Gohan goal of being a scholar was money related. That fame, that money, and that recognition could have been a tool I could see her using to make sure the boys don't turn out like goku Edited by Kblo247, Apr 3 2013, 03:27 AM.

Think about it, despite the fact that she was a princess, she instead chose live with the man she was madly in love with and become a radish farmer. Besides, if wealth was that important, she would have left Goku quickly for a rich man in the city. While the money would have been nice to have, it didn't make or break her. She did want Gohan to get a good education because she wanted to him to have a better life than she or his father had. All she really wanted was a normal family.
