As I said before I'm confident they'll make the playoffs but at the same time a lot can happen until then. I always root for them and am always happy and excited when they win a game, However my celebration ends at that, the win, not anything to do with playoffs. Suppose I start showing off and gloating then they don't make the playoffs? I would feel as dumb as the 2011 Red Sox.

The King of Creep Style Posts: 307 Group: Member Member #8,771 Joined: December 31, 2012 Gender Not Specified Favourite Anime Dragon Ball Z	I think team is aging is one thing, and the strengths they had with great pitching...hell of a bullpen is gone.I mean in 08, Cole Hamels was the star of the rotation, now it's Lee, Hamels and Halladay who is on the DL now and reports are his career could be over if the injury is truly bad.The Bullpen now is not what it used to be, Adams has been up and down and Papa John sometimes never gets a chance to pitch when the team is getting killed.I think last year Phillies giving up Pence, and Victorino during the season and not replacing them with a players of their caliber or close to it, is biting them in the a***.We've had guys who are not starting roster ready or inexperienced.It all comes to consistent hitting and pitching, and the Phillies are struggling to put it all together on a daily basis.I wouldn't be surprised if the team does something to get a pitcher or a guy with some power, fact is your team might be broken to do it.
