Yankees are over achieving at this point, noone expected the guys they picked up to hit this well. Blue jays are starting to come together even without Bautista and Reyes. we will see how they stack up in the al east this month i think they play like 20 games all against al east in a row

Overachieving? Did you forget last year that we didn't 'overachieve' at all towards the end of the season? Our ballclub puts together amazing talent. Veteran players who've all had experience in leadership roles and pulling it together? Overachieving? hardly. The Yanks pitching staff is doing PHENOMENAL. Our hitting line up is producing. He hit a slump and they saw a chance to ditch him for a younger player. Yes, I expected wells to bat this well

Black Knight Posts: 8,697 Group: Retired Staff Member #1,874 Joined: November 5, 2006 Favourite Anime Code Geass, Death Note, Dragonball/Z	Honestly I'm a huge Yankee fan but did not expect Vernon Wells to be hitting this well, considering he hasn't been too good the last couple of years, and was going on a decline, same with Lyle Overbay. Hafner I'm not as surprised when he's healthy he can hit. Brett Gardner I also knew he could perform. Though having their main catcher be more of a back up catcher, I'd say they are doing pretty good. I still find it funny Cervelli being the main catcher. Don't get me wrong I love Cervelli but I never saw him as the main catcher for any team.
