There is no indication that SSJ Gotenks (Pre) is stronger than SSJ3 Goku. I'd say Base Goku EoZ is at least SSJ2 Goku Boo arc tier. But not enough to beat SSJ Gotenks, with or without Gohan. SSJ3 Goku>~SSJ Gotenks~Post Z-Sword Gohan>Base Goku EOZ. |

Goku predicted that gotenks was gonna be stronger than him and nobody contradict it, piccolo also said that gotenks had an incredible ki even after he sensed ssj3 goku and fat buu |

Goku stated gotenks would be stronger than himself as an SSJ.... Gotenks Forms as an SSJ and piccolo says his power is incredible and ask about his speed which he than flys faster than anything piccolo has seen. |

at emmeth, there is a statment by gokus own admission that says gotenks is stronger and thats what most people use so tahts why they say gotenks ssj pre is stronger then ssj 3 goku but i dont believe that at all because of other reasons |

i dont want to get into this i have received 4 warnings about this topic cause i get heated so i shall refrain, i rather like my eliteship but i will say this, IF gotenks is stronger it cant be by a large margin because piccolos never says go fight buu or anything instead he says show me your speed, why ask about his speed in the first place if he was stronger, if he was truly stronger then he would have said go fight but had his doubts now that is key. next he says your ki is amazing, well so what gokus was too. he never said your ki is ready or perfect to fight buu. piccolo has doubts, piccolo never had doubts from goku Edited by Havoc_Wreaker, Mar 30 2013, 05:13 PM.

Chapter: 476 (DBZ 282), P9.3 Piccolo: “If that bastard felt like it, he could wipe out the entire Earth, up here included, in the blink of an eye…!” Goku: “It’s alright, I don’t think he’ll take out the Earth. After all, I told him that in 2 days, someone stronger than me would fight him, and he seemed happy…” And Piccolo was impressed by gotenks ki even when he felt ssj3 goku and faat buu power before Yellow flash Piccolo said that gotenks power was good but he only questioned speed, when gotenks went to fight buu piccolo was only worried that gotenks had 1 minute left, piccolo said that gotenks ki was incredible even AFTER he sensed ssj3 goku power Edited by mechasilver3000, Mar 30 2013, 05:16 PM.

After all, I told him that in 2 days, someone stronger than me would fight him, and he seemed happy…” Note: Goku actually never told Boo this (apparently he's gone senile in the afterlife). so that could also be interpreted as a mistake in the series, cause goku never actually did say that to buu or maybe gokus lying for a greater purpose dunno |
