Plus, there are way too many inconsistencies in the movie.

I'm a little claustrophobic so that scene just turned my stomach completely. Up until that point though it's not all that great, acting wise or anything else.

I think it's been said before, but "A serbian film" is supposed to be about as offensive as you can get. I'm not easily offended or disturbed by anything. "Serbian", along with "The Human Centepeide" sound like filth with no substance. I'm not really interested in that, but I may check it out one day.

The Japanese, and asian films in general, really know how to make a disturbing film. A lot of their ghost films are extremely creepy. I'd have to say that "Audition" is one of the most disturbing films I've ever seen.

Oh yeah, any random Japanese movie I find on SBS (this independent channel in Australia) at like 1 in the morning is always creepy as anything. I don't even know what's going on and it still gets to me lol.

Bit very disturbing compared to some stuff, but it is definitely food for thought, if You aren't even safe in your dreams, where are you safe? :p

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Eden Lake is pretty bad.

More for the realism again. it's a British film so for me at least it's disturbing to think how well the characters are portrayed, I know people like them and the film shows how just one simple act can turn a group in to murderers.

Cannibal Holocaust is also rather disturbing but more for the graphic content.
Certainly makes me not want to visit the Amazon or wherever it is, being raped to death and eaten isn't fun to look at nevermind it actually happening.

The scariest thing about that movie is that you NEVER knew when a character was sleeping or not, you never knew when they were safe. They would always make the transitions happen very subtly.

I feel like that was one of the scariest movies actually. Using dreams as a means to scare us was a very smart idea because we really can't control those like we can prevent workplace accidents or something.

It seems a lot of people don't have a high horror threshold.

The Saw movies always screwed with my head, especially the first one.

Still regarding Megan is Missing. I stumbled upon this movie "review" yesterday on youtube and laughed my butt off.
It sums up my thoughts on how bad and inconsistent the movie is.
I'll put under spoiler tags just 'cause I'm pretty sure there are spoilers in it.

ALSO: explicit language, sexual content, disturbing thumbnail and somewhat disturbing content throughout it.

I watched the first Matrix when I was 10, the scene where the robot spider goes into Neo's belly button actually gave me nightmares :O

Saw is also another one that freaked me out. Well the first one anyway.

I think it is these movies Evil Dead 2, Drag Me to Hell (Harvest Cake scene), and Stephen King's IT. Those three movies are just full of disturbing scenes. There is another movie that was Japanese and it had a woman who turned into a wooden chair that one was plain weird if I just could remember the title of it i'll watch it again.
