Novacane for the pain

I don't live in the US so this doesn't effect me at all, but looking at that line up, every single one is already an established Anime with a fairly big fanbase, and the only show I know is being added to it is One Piece, which while maybe not at Naruto/Bleach levels in the US, is now fairly popular as well. I thought Toonami was supposed to give some lesser known Anime a chance and promote them, I know it did wonders for Deadman Wonderland when it had its run on there. I know they want their ratings but it seems a shame they don't give at least the later timeslots to a less well known series.

They did say in their Tumblr post that they are looking for more shorter series so getting lesser known anime could be a possibility. Having well known series is just a way to attract new viewers to the block. Tenchi Muyo GXP does end in May so expect something to replace that.
