In my opinion it's the best sports related manga/anime ever created (even ahead of Slam Dunk). Rroyma Echizen is still one of my top 10 heroes. One of the best OST ever: Gotta be honest after watching The Prince of Tennis any time I would be losing in a sport (mainly basketball) I would say Mada Mada Dane Mother*****er.

FireFox	Same here, Prince of Tennis is actually the first Japanese anime I watched. I saw the American version on TV. Went to watch it online disappointed to see that it only had two episodes dubbed in America at the time, but was basically finished in Japan. So I started watching the sub version, and my anime love grew from there. It also got me into tennis in RL as well, amazing how much an anime can change your life. As for the show, Ryoma is definitely on my top 5 list for hero's, I'd honestly say Number 2 right behind Goku lol. Fuji also turned into one of my favorite characters of the show, along with Tezuka of course. I've actually just found out today that New Prince of Tennis existed, just watched all 13 episodes of the anime. It's been almost a year since they've been created and the manga is farther along, so looks like this is going to be my first Manga as well. Newest released on the manga was in Dec 31st 2012. So I hope they're not done, I couldn't find any news if it's ended or not. Also don't know where to look other than searching bing or google lol. You hear anything about the New Prince of Tennis? Echizen reaching the pinnacle of perfection was so ***ing awesome for me. Only match I would even care to see anymore would be Echizen VS his dad. Edited by Cal**, Feb 23 2013, 02:45 PM.

Yeah that was pretty epic, but the new series seems they went back to the original PoT style which I enjoyed more than the Nationals OVA. I'll watch anything PoT, so they could go on forever lol, I wouldn't mind. Yeah, I do wish they would have showed that, I was expecting the National OVA to end with him with Ryoma finally beating his dad. One thing I'm looking forward to in the New PoT is they're going to show Ryoma's brother. He was only in the Movie Two Samurai, and I liked him as a character. So definitely excited to see him in the actual Anime instead of just a movie.
